3 Way AMP Superseal 1.5 Series Automotive Oscilloscope Diagnostics Breakout Lead

This 3 Way AMP Superseal breakout lead is part of our range of automotive connector breakout leads and is designed to connect to 3 pin AMP superseal connector found on sensors and actuators within vehicles, motorcycles or industrial machinery. The leads allow technicians to connect to a connector within the vehicle loom and conduct diagnostic voltage and current measurements of various sensors, actuators and components. The output signals from the breakout lead banana plugs can be connected via a BNC to 4mm Banana Plugs Patch Lead to handheld or PC based oscilloscopes from; PicoScope, Hantek, Uni-T, TiePie, CarScope, Autel MaxiScope, Sealey, Bosch, Snap-On, Fluke.

The individual wire connections are colour coded for identification and designed to allow easy access with a current (Amp) clamp so that wires can be tested in-circuit allowing both current and voltage measurements to be taken simultaneously.

All of our automotive breakout leads follow an identical wire and banana plug colour code convention which are matched to pin numbers within the automotive connectors. This allows a technician to always know what pin number they are testing regardless of breakout lead and connector in use. Our WACB automotive breakout leads use the following colour code convention:
- Pin 1 - GREEN wire and female banana plug
- Pin 2 - RED wire and female banana plug
- Pin 3 - BLUE wire and female banana plug
- Pin 4 - YELLOW wire and female banana plug
- Pin 5 - WHITE wire and female banana plug
- Pin 6 - BLACK wire and female banana plug
