3-Phase V & I Breakout Test Lead for EV/ PHEV Diagnostics & Test

W3Ph-PV-BTL - 3-Phase Breakout Test Lead (Voltage & Current )for EV Diagnostics and Test.

The W3Ph-PV-BTL has been specifically designed to enable technicians to quickly conduct voltage and current diagnostics and tests on the 3-Phase circuit wiring connected to the motor and generator of an Electric Vehicle (EV) or Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) that use the same HV connector as found on a Toyota Prius. 

Voltage testing can be done with the use of the supplied magnetic banana connectors.  Current testing is done using current clamps around each phase wire.

Use of this breakout test lead removes the requirement to gain access to the 3-Phase cables through screening braid and the need to make good the damage after the testing.  Using this lead will save time and make your diagnostics more efficient.

Simple operation

Simply disconnect the vehicle 3-Phase cable at the motor/ generator and insert the breakout lead in-line and reconnect it.  Use the now accessible breakout leads to make your measurements using current clamps.  Voltage testing can also be carried out using the supplied magnetic test connections at the test points.
