2310AdaRAFCI 8mm to 4mm Plug - Delphi Test Connection for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles

This test connection has been specially designed to fit the Delphi RCS800 or RCS890 Range Power connector which is fitted to Renault, Nissan and other Electric Vehicles (EV) or Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV).  The power connector is typically used to connect the electric motor, a junction box or the inverter on the vehicle.  During insulation test or diagnostics of the vehicle and battery there is a need to connect to this connector. 

The 2310AdaRAFCI has a specially designed 8mm plug with low resistance and ultra reliable spring contacts that plugs directly into the Delphi power connector.  At the other end of the lead is a straight 4mm Shrouded banana plug which connects into a test meter or extension leads.  The two plugs are joined by a 0.75mm² PVC cable which is double jacketed to give a wear indication.  The inner jacket is white and if it can been seen then the cable is worn and should be replaced.

This lead allows a technician to conduct accurate and safe measurements and diagnostics.  Critically important when dealing with high voltages seen within an EV or PHEV.
