Automotive Diagnostics Precision Variable Resistor 10 Turn 10K Ohm
During automotive diagnostics there is sometimes a requirement to be able to adjust the resistance of a sensor or a monitored circuit to change the signal voltage going to the ECU. Inserting and using a variable resistor in the circuit will allow a technician to alter the sensor signal to gain accurate response readings or perform check actions on the circuit.
This precision variable resistor is top quality. It has resistance of 0-10kΩ, has a power rating of 2W, is wire wound, sealed to IP65 and has high performance bushing mounts. The resistance is adjusted by the use of a multi turn counting dial so you will always know what the approximate resistance is.
The resistor is connected with 3 wires mounted with stacking shrouded banana plugs to enable connection to a circuit and diagnostics/ test equipment.
The Red and Black connections are used as the main connection to produce a resistance. The additional Yellow connection can be used to provide an additional resistance so that the resistor can be used as a voltage divider.

This precision variable resistor is top quality. It has resistance of 0-100kΩ, has a power rating of 2W, is wire wound, sealed to IP65 and has high performance bushing mounts. The large resistance level is for when the sensor under test has a larger resistance or requires a significant change of resistance to register the difference within the ECU. The resistance is adjusted by the use of a multi turn counting dial (~ 10kΩ/turn) so you will always know what the approximate resistance is.

This variable resistor has a high power rating of 2W, is accurate to +/-10% and has resistance of 0-10kΩ. The resistance is adjusted by the use of a single turn dial so you always know the approximate resistance.
The resistor is connected with 3 cables mounted with stacking shrouded banana plugs to enable connection to the circuit and test meters.
The Red and Black connections are used as the main connection to produce a resistance. The additional Yellow connection can be used to provide an additional resistance so that the resistor can be used as a voltage divider.
